• NASA’s “lounge-on-wheels” ferries passengers around Washington Dulles Airport

  • Trust NASA to come up with a vehicle that’s totally out of the ordinary and a paradigm shift away from anything that could be, in today’s day, termed “street legal”. Take the pimped up moon buggy NASA built in the past for one. This extraordinarily awkward looking “lounge on wheels” was used to escort astronauts away from their space shuttles after missions. Designed by Chrysler, these vehicles are still being used at the Washington Dulles Airport to ferry around passengers at times, though if you’d ask us, we’d prefer taking the airline bus to our contraption with wings, instead of having to ride on this seemingly unbalanced monster-truck-without-them-large-wheels type mobile “lounge”.
