First-responder vehicles are specifically designed to reach places of emergency, at times when life and death is separated by a few precious minutes. Quite often, these vehicles, like ambulances and fire-trucks, are caught in traffic jams and reach emergency spots late, resulting in the loss of life and property. Instead, designer Marty Laurita has come up with this two-wheel all-purpose emergency vehicle that’s capable of breaking free from gridlocked streets quicker than other first-responder vehicles.
The bike, called the Angell Unit, is powered by compressed air and sports a modular medical kit. Apart from this, the bike also sports two more emergency tool kits, both of which are housed near the headlamp. And if that’s not all, the Angell Unit also carries fire suppression grenades, a crowbar and an axe. Priced at approximately $7,000, the Angell Unit can touch speeds of 80 miles per hour and has a 120 mile range on a full tank.
