• Luiz Zanotello’s Nama, the cloth that plays music

  • Musical instruments are some of the best creations of mankind. Music as we know it, is the language of souls. Designer Luiz Zanotello’s Nama, an art installation with a touch of music, reflects just that. In essence a fabric hooked on to LilyPad Arduino, accelerometers, and conductive thread, simply manipulating and contorting the cloth produces music!

And that’s not all. The concept also includes three screens that display visualizations that synchronize with the music played by the Nama. The art installation sports a rustic feel and is indeed magical and enables you to enjoy a soothing musical experience like never before.
