Swimming pools are usually built into homes; homes aren’t generally built around swimming pools! This is what makes the Jellyfish House in Marbella on the Mediterranean coast of Spain a modern marvel. Built by Wiel Arets Architects, the home’s infinity-edge pool faces southwest with the Sierra Bianca mountain range in the distance. The pool weighs approximately 66 tons with a glass-bottom floor and a panoramic window.
As for the home, this super-luxury nest sports four storeys and five bedrooms, a sauna, steam bath, and a kitchen. The home is modern and literally allows folk using the pool to look inside the house through the flooring! Using glass and marble extensively to its benefit, the Jellyfish House is a dream-come-true for those who love an occasional swim at home!
