Younger children are known to dread school for several reasons, particularly the heavy bags they’re made to lug around. These can indeed affect a child’s physical development and cause several health concerns. Product designer Yuree Lim came up with the Haam, a wheeled carry-on bag that allows kids to drag their stuff home. At school, the Haam can then be tucked into color coordinated cabinets.
The Haam also includes an extendable handle and sturdy wheels beneath. The cabinet on the other hand is spacious and has enough room to store a child’s belongings. The Haam is targeted at children aged between 5-12 years old and won the silver prize in a steel furniture design competition in Korea.
