‘Vespa 1+1’ scooter does not have a seat!

stand up.jpg City life and convenience being the main point of focus for almost every automobile designer and developer, this particular concept scooter named ‘Vespa 1+1’ is almost same but also refreshingly different. Being a conventional Vespa, that was how scooters were in Europe, this ‘Vespa 1+1’ is a scooter that has no seats. Being a carrier for two, the driver and the passenger have to commute standing. It is an electric scooter and has essentially designed to facilitate ‘contact’ between the passengers and thereby hope to aid some romance between them. A swipe of the fingerprint sensor starts the scooter, while the driver uses pressure sensors on the handlebars to steer, accelerate and brake. Quite simple directions to use and handle, but I’m not really comfortable with the thought of having to move around standing. stand up1.jpg [Wired]
