The North American International Auto Show gave car enthusiasts a chance to ogle over Venturi’s latest creation in collaboration with Michelin. Christened the Venturi Volage, this concept electric sports car features one of the first applications of the Michelin Active Wheel System that replaces a vehicle’s traditional engine with eight electric motors located within the wheels. Every wheel of this concept vehicle boasts of two motors: one is responsible for the propulsion and the other for the suspension. This unique system not only gives active suspension, but also provides a low center of gravity to enhance the maneuverability and performance of the four wheel drive.
A great concept car, we would love to see this one on the streets soon.
