If you’ve had the opportunity to watch the movie 2012, you wouldn’t laugh after reading this post. (sheer credit to the amazing visual effects) Whether it’s the Mayan civilization, or the Chinese calendar, everybody has predicted it in the past and everybody is discussing it in the present. Even if you claim that you’re a pragmatist and don’t believe in apocalypse, you’d definitely believe in climate change and its effects. Designer Mario Pitsch has visualized a scenario where we’d have to go back to the nomadic life for survival and come up with a cross country RV that includes systems to grow food, produce water and energy for everyday use.
The RV features solar panels to produce electricity, traps moisture from the available air to produce water for drinking and other use. The concept includes a greenhouse with algae reactor and a foil-shell, which I presume, is for growing plants. The Nomad RV accommodates a small (happy?)family of four in ‘comfort’. Okay, let’s not criticize it too much, or we’ll have to beg for it tomorrow!
