Marlin Yacht attempts to connect man and the sea

Marlin-Yacht.jpg A yacht is synonymous with comfort and luxury. But the Marlin Yacht concept is also eco-friendly, apart from being overtly lavish. Firstly the deck is very spacious and the shape allows the crew to move around easily. The cockpit seats have been made very ergonomic by providing ample leg space. Also the chairs at the steering wheel are foldable, so there is not space wastage.

The most important design innovation done to the yacht is the inclusion of two inflatable ‘wings’ that lower the risk of capsizing and provides some amount of stability, at least psychologically.

The second element of innovation on The Marlin Concept Yacht is the energy which is supplied using the solar energy through the nano technology integrated in the sails material. This is possible by using nano panels because they are very thin and flexible.

As far as the interiors are concerned, the designer wishes there be a beautiful union of the [erson and the sea, so he uses a lot of windows in the interiors and the hull, so that the sea view is never obstructed for the sailors. Made to accommodate a minimum of 2 people and a maximum of 8 this is truly a beautiful design.
