Cocoon 1 provides for personal space at home

With fossil fuel prices sky-rocketing now more than ever, its best you leave your gas-guzzling four-wheeler at home, and look for a cleaner and more eco-friendly ride to work, like this electricity-assisted bicycle by Industrial Design student Vojtěch Sojka, created as part of a project at the University of Technology in Brno (Czech Republic). The bike looks great and is highly-functional; sporting a hydroformed aluminum frame with the motor positioned in the bottom bracket for increased weight-distribution, the bike also packs its batteries below the seat and uses a carbon belt drive and a Shimano Alfine hub. A concept design, this one seems to be a great way to get around without spending those extra dollars on all the gas your car tends to swallow.
