Designers Mike and Maaike have come up with a concept of driverless self-parking modern mobile home design. In other words, this is a concept where you don’t have to drive but sit within a comfortable interior section with a friend or friends and reach your destination without the hassle of driving through traffic, road rage or any such thing. Once you reach your place, all you need to do is get off and not worry about parking either as the automated vehicle will do that on its own.
This is like shifting responsibilities from humans to machines. Instead of obsessing over reaching somewhere on time and speeding in the process, you can just sit back and enjoy a book, music or anything you want and also get to your destination efficiently and soon enough. The benefits of this design include physical accessibility, sustainability through larger groups traveling together and the reduction or even elimination of parking problems. The thought is there and is ideal for people who aren’t too fond of driving or cars as a sport. It is a nice idea, but will it work?
