Aston Martin and Foster + Partners win makeover for the London Bus

Close on heels of the Freight*BUS comes the announcement of the results of the Routemaster bus for London (held by Transport for London). Aston Martin and architects Foster + Partners won hands down along with Capoco Design. Runners up included Héctor Serrano Studio in the UK, and Miñarro García and Javier Esteban from Spain with their design ‘Welcome Back’. Jamie Martin’s ‘The London Navigator’ also joined the bandwagon. We can expect the award-winning design to become a prototype by 2011. Check out other cool designs after the jump.
