dell_xps_baton_pc.jpg

Dell XPS Baton PC has two rolled up screens.

Fashioned as a tube, the Dell XPS Baton PC concept has to be the most ingenious design that I have seen for laptop in a very long time. It's all about a tube and portable designing. Featuring two rolled up flexible colored OLED films; the screens pull out to form a display and a keyboard (bottom screen) at a convenient angle.

Give a rat's tail about this light

The Rattus Norvegicus Rex has to be the quirkiest design for a chandelier. Fondly called The Brown Rat King, it features porcelain rats hung upside down with red glass berries in their mouth.

peugeot_eve_1.jpg

Peugeot EVE is an eco-friendly car that emotes the driver's mood

Mood reflecting lights are something we have all heard about, but the Peugeot EVE is a concept that imbibes this feature thus reflecting a very swanky persona. Boasting of a very intuitive interface that senses the driver's mood, the car is able to change the color of its panels, reflecting the same.

Another Pyramid in Paris- Le Projet Triangle by Herzog & de Meuron

I thought the Parisians were done with triangular forms after the installation in front of the Louvers drew much flack. But the romance with the form has just begun to warm up and architects Herzog & de Meuron have unveiled their design for a triangular building in the Porte de Versailles area of Paris, France.

Cuppa- the social laptop device is a one-stop solution for all digital functions at home

The Cuppa is the brainchild of Ben Arrent, who conceptualized this powerful device as a solution for social networking and controlling household gadgets via one system.

Flama Vitro111.jpg

Flama Vitro "Portable Vitroceramic cook top"

Designer João Carneiro has developed the Flama Vitro "Portable Vitroceramic cook top" with the objective of fitting it into the life of young couples or single people, who are always on the go, with little time to spare. This informal style of this setup brings in the tradition of cooking into lives of those forced to eat TV/microwave dinners.

Solar Prometeo stores power and juices devices

So far the only source not fully exploited, and funnily enough it's free, is the solar power. However, resolving this aspect, a group of designers participating in the Samsung Young Design contest has developed the Solar Prometeo.

magnetic_lamp_2.jpg

The Magnetic Lamp is a source of U-light

The bend in lamp makes you think you are holding a jug-handle without the jug, but in reality it's a lamp that sticks onto most metallic surfaces. Like magic-tricks that enthralled as kids, the Magnetic Lamp takes inspiration from the Attraction-properties of a magnet.
