Umbrellas are one of the most commonly stolen objects, particularly during the wet months when a few individuals leave their own umbrellas back home and resort to picking out someone else’s . addressing the issue of umbrella thefts, designers Kim Seokhui, Kim Seongjin and Kim Dasol came up with this fascinating concept umbrella, inspired by the lizard. As we all know by now, a lizard sheds its tail when threatened.
Similarly, this umbrella is capable of having its handle detached, to prevent thieves from bagging it! Called the Lizard Umbrella concept, this one discourages thieves from picking it up from an umbrella stand, making sure you never have to go home soaked!
