Emergency shelters are designed to be deployed quickly and withstand the elements. Carter Williamson Architects from Australia recently came up with these fantastic Emergency Shelters that are extremely easy to setup, require minimal materials and can shelter people in catastrophic conditions. Using a 2.4 meter unit system, this Emergency Shelter requires minimal labor.
To setup one of these, just 2 to 3 people are required. Once built, the Emergency Shelter can house up to 10 people at a time! The unit also includes a mezzanine level, allowing users to nap. Once used, the Emergency Shelter can then be loaded onto the back of a truck and carted away!
