Cocoon 1 provides for personal space at home

Designed at the P³i Design Lab at Northumbria University using a new breed of smart garments, the new fabric used for clothes will help heal chronic wounds caused by diabetes as well as provide medical professionals with alerts in case of impending epileptic seizures and “bioware” surfaces designed to enhance an aging population’s quality of life. With medical technology heading in a whole new way, we can probably hope that in the future we no longer have to take medicines and undergo treatments to help cure diseases or any other medical conditions.
Given the fact that people are already looking at this technology, we might have to just stop over at Walmart and pick up a t-shirt that controls influenza or wear socks that heal fractures. You can never know what the future holds for you right?
