Fashion and history always repeat themselves. Just like this particular Victorian hat that has come back again in the 21st century with its new and improved version of the bell-shaped hat. ‘In a Theatre’ by Dominik Smialowski and Marcin Szpak is a photo set that is set in a theatrical backdrop with women models dressed up as the women during the Victorian era. The photo is a very bold reflection of the level of confidence the women during that time had, and is expressed by the very bold giant sized bell shaped hats. The hat is the main feature and highlight in the picture that talks of the freedom of expression that was inbuilt in the women even during those times.
