UK soccer star Gary Neville is apparently building an 8-million pound eco-home in the Bolton countryside. Designed by ‘Make Architects’ from London, the star is set to explore almost all avenues of the green-dom. The entire structure of the house blends into a seemingly rolling hill, which is a very new thing. Apart from a green roof, and literally so, the house is going to run on solar panels and wind turbine. It indeed is a big investment, but I wonder what’s the point in going green so lavishly. Doesn’t that contradict the whole point of saving resources?
