Colored water droplets make music using a webcam

Audible Colors was developed with the goal of using colored water droplets to produce the sounds of music. Basic colors red, blue, and green correspond to the musical notes A, D, and F and when these colors further combined to make purple, teal, and brown, correspond to the notes C, E, and G respectively. Developed by Matsui and Miyazaki, these audible musical notes are variable and the volume and frequency of the notes can be varied according to the size of the colors.

According to the developers, these notes are not bound by water only, but can also be created using soap or even acrylic paints.
