Mixing technology with art has been artist Makoto Tojiki’s field of play since a while now, and these astounding sculptures we just came across have taken our breath away. Part of the No Shadow series, these sculptures are made from hanging strands of LED lights. Using lights and shadows to form these 3D sculptures, Tojiki’s artworks are green as ever too, given the fact that they use lower levels of energy. To start off with, Tojiki first studies the body structures of living organisms and their shadows, and then sculpts these beautiful renditions with LED strands.
