The concept of incorporating aquariums into furniture is nothing new. So designers have to really struggle and come up with unique designs to make their aquarium furniture stand out. The latest designer who has managed to make his centerpiece stand out is French designer Amaury Poudray along with glass craftsman Pierre Pigna, who has designed a glass, zeppelin-shaped aquarium supported by a steel frame. This piece has been christened Air 1 and combines simple elements that are part of everything yet autonomous according to the designer. The designer has achieved his goal of elevating the glass shape and creating a link between two materials with the Air 1. The slim steel legs are the only support of this glass tube making this structure look delicate and beautiful. Several trials were required to find the solution for a glass tube to slide steel legs in. And the end result was totally worth the trails and errors.
The Air 1 with its simplistic design and combination of elements is sure to be the show stopper at any place.
