I have never been to Morocco, but I have heard a lot about their unique cooking style in the Tajine. Those familiar with the cooking shows on Discovery would have probably come across this delightful pot in one of the shows. Tommaso Colia’s Tajine 2015 is a mixture between the Tajine and the wok. His iteration ensures that the steam moving inside the ceramic pot cooks the food. The steam goes up, and it is able to warm and cook the food, which is situated on the steel cap at the top. According to the designer, “The purpose of this design is to allow people to take care of their health and avoid adulteration; this is the first and meaningful step toward a good diet.”
