This one has a cylindrical main body mounted horizontally above the coffee cup, supported by a beautiful white shell. Placed before a white backdrop, this one would sure seem to be a machine floating above your mug of coffee! The sides of the cylinder are doors through which you enter water and coffee beans or capsules.

The concept for a healthy kitchen appliance was developed at the Deft University of Technology. It aims to remove all insecurities a cook may face while cooking like whether the vegetables are still fresh or is the food cooked to the right temperature. The device features a wireless touch screen that gives the information about the food once the sensors have tested it. The sensors range in variety form a spoon sensor to a pan sensor and even a fruit sensor that give information on everything from the temperature of the food to the ingredients, to the freshness of the items. Pure Water Bottle by Timothy Whitehead

Pure-Water-Bottle-1.jpg Safe drinking water is one of the most essential things to ward of many diseases and ailments. And a trip to Zamibia made designer Timothy Whitehead think of a new idea to create a way to make safe drinking water quickly. Although current methods like sterilizing the water or adding chlorine tablets are efficient, they take around 30 minutes and give the water a horrible taste. This led the designer to come up with his own unique quick way of purifying water. His creation is dubbed the Pure Water Bottle and as its name suggests, it is a portable water bottle that promises to purify water in just less than two minutes. The bottle is equipped with a wind-up ultra violet light that sterilizes the water, and also ensures there is no change in taste of the water after the process.

The wine inside an egg, Colier Sparkling Wine’s weird packaging

Colier-Sparkling-Wine.jpg Remember the golden egg Harry Potter fights a dragon to get his hands on in the Goblet of Fire movie? Well, if you aren’t much of a fan of the spectacled little magician, you probably wont known what we’re referring to while talking about this wine packaging. With a magic of its own, the packaging used for Colier Sparkling Wine is sure to grab a lot of attention. More of a carbon fiber egg than a golden one, this one tightly holds your bottle for you. Though targeted to business women, this one sure would find its place better on your bar. The container is something we’ve never seen before, and does remind one of some dinosaur egg you probably spotted in Jurassic Park. No T-Rex popping out of this one though. Expect a bottle of sparkling wine instead, which we’d appreciate more than an ancient overgrown carnivore.

The KitchenAid Variable Grill

KitchenAid-Variable-Grill-1.jpg
This contemporary styled grill is a beauty to behold. Designed by Roberto Bertran, the top surface of the grill is made of glass while the bottom is made of metal. The top face contains 140 independent heating surfaces and the interesting part is that the grill turns on only when any of these surfaces come in contact with the food. Because the Variable Grill heats only the surfaces that come in contact with the food, it ends up saving energy for the user. Moreover as each surface is able to move independently, it surrounds the food on all sides, giving a better cooked meal. In a nutshell, it promises a complete grilling experience.
