Developed by Andrew Thong, Anna Wu, Brian Quan and Nathan Waddington, WeBlimp is a meter-long, flying, computer controlled blimp. It is equipped with a tiny camera, a gondola and three small propellers. Images captured on its camera will be sent to a laptop wirelessly. Based on them, the operator will guide the blimp to move in a certain direction. Hence the movement of the blimp is based on mutual interaction and can be steered as per public response. WeBlimp is scheduled to welcome visitors from around the world at the Surrey 2010 Celebration site in Holland Park during 2010 Winter Olympic Games from Feb.17- 21.
