Walking canes have never been and never will be a fashion accessory. They simply weren’t designed to make you look good either. Well, designer Egle Ugintaite however, decided to give the walking cane a touch of futuristic sleekness and a facelift fit enough to actually make this one seem to look pretty beautiful! Called The Aid, this cane also won Fujitsu’s A Life With Future Computing award for 2011. Complete with a navigator to provide directions to where the user wants to go, an SOS button in case of emergencies, and a LED monitor to show up information in regards to the user’s blood pressure and such, this cane of the future contains just about every technology and facility an aged person would require, to enjoy a stress free and lovely walk to the park!
