Likening the sound of the wind chimes to the flow and transmission of messages, designer Wang Tsunho from Lufdesign describes the Tinkling as a Data flow that takes place every time you receive a mail or message and the chime tinkles. The Tinkling chime features a pendulum that plays out a clear alert every time your mail comes in. It displays the name of the sender and a summary of the message digitally on the body of the bell. The purpose behind developing this digital chime is to break the monotony of gadgets like PC and phones that monopolize our time all day. It’s a refreshing break that makes us aware of the natural world, and the gentle breeze that blows every now and then to rejuvenate us.

Take a look at the video after the break.
