The Sound Carpet is an ingenious product designed by Design Academy Eindhoven student Lim Hyuntaik. The Sound Carpet is a home sound system as well as a space for relaxation and entertainment which at the same time encourages face-to-face interaction. The amazing Sound Carpet has fetched the bright design student the Bronze Award in the Students Design category. The four raised corners smartly hide the speakers and cords underneath them. This not only creates more space but also avoids clutter. The corners can also be used as a place for users to lounge while listening to music, reading, or chatting.
A great design, the young student deserves all the awards and adulation for her amazing creation.
