Plastic money, the credit and debit cards we’ve been using since the last decade, might soon go outdated, making way for digital money instead. For now, digital money exists in external bank accounts, and to access it, we use plastic cards. Shortly in future, problems of connectivity and accessibility using plastic cards as identification will be a thing of the past. In today’s world, the fastest transaction is through cash. In the future, digital money will be used with digital wallets, like the one designed by Fredrik Palmblad. And unlike plastic cards, just incase you run short of money, you can connect these electronic wallets to others, to transfer funds.
Who’d carry cash in the future if we use devices like this that keep our money safe and easily accessible, digitally!
