What’s in ad out? A age old fashion accessory that has been revamped to suit the current times and need. With the phones, be it the landline phones or mobile phones, getting smaller by the day, every phone is a clone of the other, looks like. But Jung Dae Hoon’s design concept breaks all odds, redefines convention, takes inspiration from the traditional dial phones. The dial phone is supposed to be worn around the wrist like a bangle. The phone can be operated by simply turning the dial. When the phone is in use, the project light beams guide by indicating different characters. The upper part of the dial responds to the user’s touch, and pressing the notch related to a particular number facilitates dialing. This design is truly a blast from the past but with a touch of modernity.
