People used to tactile QWERTY keys usually frown when it comes to using touch screen devices. Recently a startup firm called Tactus Technology came up with this fantastic screen that literally has buttons pop out of it! Using micro-fluids, the concept makes physical keys bubble up from the surface of a touch screen.
When not required, these buttons sink back into the phone’s screen, making it a complete touch-screen once again. Also, the pressure in the keys can be adjusted, allowing users to choose from squishy to plastic-like keys. With an innovation as such, companies that thrive on QWERTY keyboards like BlackBerry are bound to jump with joy!
