Don’t stone it literally but enjoy the interesting twist behind the ideology of the Stone iPod/iPhone dock. Designer Ankoor Sahaii feels that this Stone dock represents the fact that we ultimately draw all our energies from mother earth, which is quite true. As he says, “The focus of the design is the point of view itself and the design process to interpret those terms of view point through the ideas above.” Stone is a simple dock, which you can use for charging and for syncing data with your computer. However Ankoor also takes inspiration from the eagle, which breaks out its talons and beak to grow new ones, in order to survive to the prime age of 70.
