Cocoon 1 provides for personal space at home

Its kind of a bummer to know that you will still attend school even when you are sick. You don’t have to be personally present on sick days in school, but still manage not to miss any classes. This is possible because of a robot that can be your stand-in on such days. The robot, called VGo is priced at $4,800 and comes with a screen that displays the users face by interlinking a webcam and a camera on the robot itself lets the user see the surroundings of the robot.
Besides letting kids attend school even on school days (and I am sure kids wont like this), the robot can be applied for a variety of operations like working while still sitting at home, or just being able to walk up to someone and saying hi when you don’t have the courage to personally start the conversation.
