The latest model of the Skiff E-Book reader is a delight for the bookworms, with screen stretching up to 11.5 inches and a facility of 1200×1600 touchscreen display. Not just that, even the durability is assured with its e-paper fabricated with an LG-made flexible, shatter-resistant steel foil instead of the regular glass. The extra screen size of the e-book reader lets Hearst slim down to a sleek quarter incher. The reader has a battery life of over a week and one also has an added advantage of the Sprint 3G connection which allows the user to download books and subscriptions within the US.
For places beyond Sprint’s coverage or international travel, Wi-Fi could be activated. The Skiff Reader is specially made to support the Skiff Format that incorporates more visual or cross platform texts. The Skiff E-Book reader will be available some time later during the year in Sprint’s retail outlets.
