Louise Cochrane a product design engineering student has designed a ping pong ball launcher that fires 3 ping pong balls at a target 3- 4m away, with a maximum of 5 seconds between each firing. It consists of a rotating feeder which feeds a ball along the piping into position. Then powered by a motor, a metal ruler is cranked back and released to fire the ball. It seems to be a simple but effective design. I wouldn’t mind having one for practice.
