I have a very old grandmother who is prescribed to take medicines at different intervals. But due to her age, she very often forgets to take her pills on time. All you folks who are living with the elderly might have come across these similar situations. But the unique concept Pill Time by Vincent Berkeley Chen attempts to find a solution to these problems. The unique concept Pill Time device has been designed to help elderly chronic patients take their medicine in time. So you can be assured that your ailing relatives have taken their medicines even while you are away. The unique device sounds an alarm and reminds the patient that it is time to take the necessary medicines. What is more, the device contains three slots, morning, afternoon and evening, that open according to the time and offer the patients the necessary medicines at their prescribed time. Just load the device with the pills and you can be assured that the device will do all the rest.
More Info : According to the designer, the device loads itself and does not require users to load the pills manually. The loading station loads the PMA (personal medication assistant) for you while charging the battery. The users need to remove the PMA from the loading station in the morning and insert it again at night on a daily basis.
A great creation, I hope this one materializes soon.
