Always wished to play a piano but can’t afford to buy one? Scott Garner’s latest creation is what you need. Scott has created prototype design dubbed the Piano Gloves, that enables users to play a full size piano without any piano present. As the name suggests, the prototype designs consists of gloves that are digitally enhanced. The gloves use arduino and processing to track the player’s movements and create the corresponding piano notes. All the user is required to do is put on the gloves and move his fingers over any flay surface like a table or desk. The gloves are spatially aware and can know what notes the user is intending to play.
Although still in its early stage of development, Scott has plans of advancing and developing both the hardware as well as software side of his design.
