Whoever said technology isn’t fashionable and is restricted to the kingdom of geeks wasn’t obviously thinking ahead. Microsoft recently managed to woo the crowd at the New York Fashion Week with its one-of-a-kind Printed Dress. In essence a Tweet-enabled garment that displays Tweets in real-time, the Printed Dress is a perfect bridge between the worlds of fashion and technology. Displayed at Bloomingdale’s, the dress makes use of an integrated projector and is made completely out of paper. Visitors were invited to tag #MSBloomingdales, enabling them to see their messages on the dress in real-time, making it an interactive piece of clothing!
