There were times when staring at blank walls was considered silly. Now, you could turn your otherwise harmless wall into a full-fledged display screen with the flick of a switch! The Intel Developer Forum saw the unveiling of a promising new technology called the “Display without Boundaries” that changes just about any surface into a multi-touch screen. Unlike projectors that simply project a visual on a blank wall, Intel’s newest technology allows you to interact with the virtual screen by way of touch. Using commonly available technology, Intel managed to put this piece of genius together along with its own algorithm and software. An interesting take on the future of technology, soon we could be sharing images in empty plates and moving these around the blank walls of our humble abodes.
