HTC has finally done it. They have entered the waterproof phone market with their latest HTC H2O. Designed by Bob Freking, the phone is being dubbed as the “world’s best waterproof phone.” Antonio Busillo who came up with the idea, sent sketches of the phone to Freking who used a quad core Tegra 3 1.5 GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and an 8-megapixel camera with 1080p video capture and came up with the first concept of the HTC H2O.
With Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and a 3-megapixel camera at the front, the phone comes with a Super AMOLED HD screen with a 1600 x 900 pixel resolution and Gorilla Glass 3 protection and a water themed UI. Although it’s unclear as of now the screen diagonal is supposed to be between 4.5 to 4.8 inches. The phone is available in Polar White, Black and my personal favorite Water Blue.
