The main reason I was attracted to this latest concept kitchen appliance was its name. Aptly dubbed the Chomp, it is a toaster, sandwich maker and grill, all in one. Made by Eric Pautz in collaboration with Fernanda Filippin, the Chomp boasts of a unique pressing mechanism that allows it to automatically adjust to sandwiches of varied thicknesses. It’s amazing ability that allows it to function both in open and closed configurations, enable s the user to cook a variety of items ranging from sandwiches, toasts, waffles, fried eggs to grilled meat and many others. Easy to operate via a Touchscreen, the Chomp is the most ideal cooking appliance for the modern kitchens.
