Shenzhen ND Industrial Design Co. Ltd. Has developed a blood pressure monitor for the blind or the visually impaired. It is made up of a soft material which can be easily twisted around the wrist. After the user monitors his blood pressure accurately, different humps rise on the monitor’s surface with the help of a microcomputer. Thus its reading is displayed in Braille which the user can feel easily. This design has also won reddot award 2009 for its design concept.
