A new age group has been identified and they are the tweens. Aged between 6 to 14, they are a group that is fickle, pre-puberty-cranky and gullible. Designing something for them is a tricky business but looks like Nardo has made some progress with the Asus MP3 concept. The unique form is attractive and has been conceived after doing a great deal of research. Referring to comic books, cartoons, movies and music, the design includes changeable faceplates so that the fickle minds can choose an option best suited to their current mood and whims. On the board, the Asus player features all the functions that a normal MP3 player would include; the only grouse is that holds only 2GB of memory. Yes, the scroll wheel does have an iPod hangover, but that is understandable, because it is the yardstick for the kids in any case.
