Davy Jones from the Pirates of the Caribbean would probably love sticking his tentacles into this organ, and would probably dump his old five tired one into the sea! The instrument, called a hydraulophone, requires a user to put his fingers on tiny water jets and produces a soothing, organ-like music, is shaped like a fish. You don’t need to pass the grades of a music school to play this one. It requires no amount of skill or practice whatsoever, though the results, in the form of music, are indeed gratifying. So what if the guitar’s just too difficult and the drumsticks keep flying from your hands! The hydraulophone could be your instrument of choice after all! Resembling a large flute with water flowing thru it instead of air, this instrument has 12 holes, each spewing a jet of water, while users block each hole to play a chord.
Ok, maybe Davy Jones would find this one cheesy, though the Little Mermaid sure would love it!
