This is NW1 table from Nicholai Wiig Hansen’s pottery. It consists of more than 62 kg of wet clay and is made in a Danish pottery. He has made liberal use of blue, green, brown and beige colors in making the table. The inspiration for the color combinations comes from Nordic painters like Lundstorm and Munck. Moreover Nicholai Wiig Hansen comes from an artistically inclined family and the artistic touch seems quite evident in his table. He is proud to declare that the table is made by hands. The only disadvantage though I feel is of the table’s weight, it’s a bit too heavy.
