The latest concept home has been designed by students of Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in Germany. Their prototype mobile micro home is christened the Rollit and offers the occupant optimum use of space through its unique design. The outer shell of this unique concept home has four evenly spaced support rings and is lined with a translucent membrane that provides as further support, as well as natural lighting to the home. The interior comprises of three levels that are paneled with thin (15mm) slats of laminated structural board. Every level of the Rollit has a separate function: a sleeping and study area, a kitchen with a sink, and an exercise cylinder. The top level contains three closeted areas. The only thing this mobile home lacks is a toilet.
Definitely unique, just roll the Rollit to enjoy the different spaces in this unconventional prototype home.
