Imagine a chair that looks like a robot. Designer Lica Nichetto takes inspiration from a Bjork music video “all is full of love” that presents a robots take on human charecteristics. The ‘Robot Chair’ that is currently being presented at the Stockholm furniture fair 2010, looks at a chair as if it were a robot. With the possibility of dismantling it and the joints and breaks visible, it does really give a robotic feel to it. This can thus be packed in a box as small as 50cm X 50cm thereby saving space.
Made of plywood, acrylic felt made of recycled plastic bottles were a conscious effort in making the design more eco-friendly.
