Justin Richards ‘home-office’ concept has left me a little confused as far as architecture is concerned. The best thing about concept designs is that they need not always be practical and useful. They may be successful even if the design is new and innovative. This, I’m not sure is innovative, but to me looks a little weird. The designer justifies his design by stating that it is a consistent system of woodwork throughout- a composite bridle joint held by a pin. Though it looks different, i’m not really convinced it this can be used to work in reality.
