You can never have enough of storage space. Besides the unique storage container, here is another great solution to end your storage woes. Called Hoog en Droog (High and Dry), this is a unique project created by Design Academy Eindhoven graduate Jephte Francissen. The project consists of wooden storage crates (which the designer made from left over pieces of wood from a furniture maker) that can be hoisted up to the ceiling using a clock spring. When the crates are raised upwards, the spring unwinds and the rope rolls itself up, while when they are pulled down the spring is used under tension. When you release the crate, it stays hanging where it is on its own. If you are known to have a lot of clutter in your home, this unique system is definitely the right solution for you.
An attic to hold all your clutter, this unique project is currently on display at the Talent Exhibition at the Designhuis until 25 October.
