If you have the luxury of working from home, then why not make the experience even more comfortable especially if your job requires you to spend long hours on the laptop. Dave Malouf an Industrial Design professor at the Savannah College of Art & Design suggests you opt for the various lap desks that are available these days. The ergonomics of such desks are such that you can work for hours without straining yourself. Most of the lap desks are designed to be used on beds or couches allowing you to relax and lie down while you work on that presentation or spreadsheet. He recommends you opt for desks like the $100 Laptop laidback or the Wizard Multi-Configurable Laptop Stand.
You can read Dave’s thoughts and views on the ergonomics and benefits of such desks here.
