Cross Stitch can work even on your Table

Table1.jpg Sometimes I really wonder from where and how designers get such innovative ideas from! To seriously think of, the inspiration more often than not is derived from life’s simplest things. Take this ‘Stitched Table’ for example that has been designed by Bill Hilgendorf and Jason Horvath of Uhuru Design. Built around a cut slab of walnut wood that has been split into two, the slab is artistically held together by four X-shaped stitches. These stitches really stand out against the dark color of the walnut wood. The only thing I dislike din this design is the frame that looks a little unmatched with the rest of the design. It makes the design look incomplete to me. Nevertheless, it is quite an interesting piece of furniture to own. Table-2.jpg Table-3.jpg
